Christiana is a South African artist based in Cyprus.

She works in paint, charcoal, and mixed media. Building a body of work that is dark, visceral, and deeply personal.

Her practice began as a private meditation. Made without an audience or a market in mind, just pure introspection. She painted to understand herself. 

Christiana is self taught. She considers this not a gap in her formation but the condition of it. Her visual language belongs entirely to her because no institution shaped it.

Christiana founded Christilette as the house for her world and everything she makes.
